Texas Government News Update: Perry Issues Message to Legislators
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 8, and Article III, Section 40, of the Texas Constitution and under his powers as the chief executive officer and governor of the State of Texas, Rick Perry has issued the following message to the house of representatives: Submitting legislation relating to the regulation of abortion procedures, providers, and facilities and legislation relating to establishing a mandatory sentence of life with parole for a capital felony committed by a l7-year-old offender as a matters to be considered by the legislature.
